Abstract

The development of skin flaps began from early period in the use of random & :gal cutaneous flap. Then, in the 1970s, muscle and musculocutaneous flaps were deve Now in the 1980s, the fasciocutaneous flap supplied by a third system of verse= evolved. Also at this time microvascular techniques were applied to the transfer of t:. But, the bulkiness in a flap and donor scar were constantly annoying problem, espe. sy in face and hands. A fascial flap provides an ample thin vascular cover with negl ,_ble donor scar.
This paper presents the authors¢¥ 2 year experience with 10 cases of superficial , e.nporal fascial flap.
